Ive been fooling around with Blender -> constructor -> TGE and so far i seem to have made a good job in making it BSP-likeable.
I know this is the constructor forum and i hope this is acceptable anyway since i belive constructor is a awsome tool and i did all the "hard" work in constructor.
Made with Blender 2.47 and Constructor 1.051.
LOD and texturing done in Constructor. (those texturing tools are AWSOME. Thanks!)
Stock textures that comes with Constructor for fast prototyping

Its built to be placed inbetween a mountain passage of some sort, to restrict movement if danger aproaches.
I think i did a pretty good job in building it with BSP.

I like the design and the fact you included the reference picture! I like the arch work too! I would however include all the textures you used in Constructor with the .dif. So anyone can just drop the folder into the torque directory. From a design standpoint it could use a set of stairs, but from a realistic standpoint you don't want anyone trying to get where you're at.

as for stairs, how about a ladder? Or why not a jump pad ala quake?
thanks for your comments, much appriciated.

Archive updated with the textures. Gee things you take for granted, i was positive that the textures where included in TGE also..as for stairs, how about a ladder? Or why not a jump pad ala quake?

If you do a ladder than you have to do "climbing" animations. Jump pad WTF! or a simple teleport trigger would do. Now all it needs is an animated gate...

I love the concept and I would go with a simple animated steel gate that just goes up and down. Then put stairs on the other side of the gate. Let's face it....if the enemy got past the gate who cares if there are stairs or not...you're dead!!!

Aah, thats more like it. Now it looks alright when placed in a environment where it should stand.
So, what do you all think?
