A sketchbook thread for me

I've been working on a pipeline from zbrush to Maya to Torque and Source, and I'm getting some good results as well as a very fast time from sketch to game ready model.
Here is some examples of my first character using this toolset.
Heres a link to a 360 of the figurine version...

and here are some of the tgea version with normal maps...

Let me know what you think.

The high poly model looks really good but the low poly seems a bit dull and squarish. how many polys is the low poly model?

He's 1400 polys, so yeah he could have more, but I wanted to test the low poly version and see how the normal maps looked. I might try a higher level of detail to see how it might look.

Looks really good, too bad it's high-poly.

Yea, mostly just the feet and hands need to be rounded out a little more.

Some more of my latest.. Mainly figure sketching kind of stuff. Not sure if he'll see a game engine or not.. he's T posed and ready, I'm just to lazy to rig him at the moment.cleaned up the other images cause I posted progress below.. but I still like the sincity look ;-)

Noticed that his fingertips look like they been squished with a hammer. look at the ring finger compared to the pinky in the 3rd picture.

the spin is interactive once it loads.. so you can control the rotation.

again interactive.. I'm actually in the middle of taking it old school. I'm tired of doing him marvel style.

And a little something that I started playing with while evaluating some "Pipeline" enhancements.. I was in a patriotic mood.www.colins-loft.net/free/examples/LibertyCompsmall.jpg

OK.. so here's the game that got me into Torque in the first place. These are some screen shots from some of the game missions. Its what I've been working on for the last year and a half, among other things.www.colins-loft.net/free/examples/PowerUpScreens/PowerUpScreens.html

Thanks. We've actually done the game twice now.. Once in TGEA.. and then ported it back to TGE. It was a great way to learn the engines. I'm an avid Torque head now.
