Has anyone been able to do an export of a model and animation using the LWDTS tool and Lightwave 9.3.1? Mine seems to crash everytime I try, although I can export the .DSQ, just not the DTS.

Too bad a stable robust exporter hasn't been developed yet. I had to stop using Torque sometime ago due to export/import issues.

Just logged back and am checking to see the status of LW with Torque.Too bad a stable robust exporter hasn't been developed yet. I had to stop using Torque sometime ago due to export/import issues.

I thought I had it working fine in 9.3, though I have not tried in 9.5 since the full release. In fact, I still need to download the full release rather than the beta release I have!

Hell, I even used it in the reboot of Think Tanks, and the development of Legions.
His exporter has always been very stable and robust.
Having said that, I haven't done much with it and LW9.5 yet.

This is a bit of a late response to this post, but I have developed everything in my Torque environment packs with lightwave and David Wyand's lightwave exporter for torque.Hell, I even used it in the reboot of Think Tanks, and the development of Legions.

Unfortunately I have problems with this plugin and LW 9.5 (64-bit). It simply does not work at all. But maybe it works on 32-bit. I used to export with it formerly at my XP 32-bit and it worked fine then.

torque API is 32 bit only. 64Bit encoded models wont work. Someone told me this long ago with 3ds max.
