Hi, I am making a promotional fps game for my rts game, and I wanted to know how I can make 2 armies rush eachother. Also, the men would start in a formation. Is this possible through script. If so can someone point me to a resourse? Thanks.

Thanks, I actually own the second edition of this book, are these scripts included in there?

Edit: Whup, sorry! That's Advanced 3D Game Programming All In One, the follow-up to the one I listed above. IMHO, Advanced is the far more useful of the two books.

In the copy I have, it's Chapter 9, Group Behaviors. I think that's what you're looking for.Edit: Whup, sorry! That's Advanced 3D Game Programming All In One, the follow-up to the one I listed above. IMHO, Advanced is the far more useful of the two books.

Ok, thanks John

Check out Kenneth Finney's two "3D Game Programming All In One" books. The second "Advanced" one has a good section on AI behavior and swarming that's script-only.
Good luck!
