Gloss effect in blender...

I'm making a Sonic fangame, using official 3d models from the game Sonic Adventure DX, and I was wondering
if there's a way to add a "glossy" effect to my models like in SADX.

Like this, using Blender.

You get that effect by using a specular material (if your using TGEA or TX3D)

What about TGE?
