HD 1080p TGEA games

I really don't know alot about 1080p but was wondering if it possible to make a 1080p game for TGEA?

1080p is a Television standard. TGEA is capable of setting the resolution to whatever the video card is capable of. If you are developing for a console, the same is true.

The resolution for 1080p is 1920x1080. 720p is 1280x720.
