Looking for a PlayerModel

by Evil · in General Discussion · 08/01/2008 (11:25 pm) · 3 replies

Hello, everyone my team and I are a group of people working on a game known as AT or "Altered Time" This game takes place in the Medieval Era. It is just another one of those games some freinds get together to make but we ran in too a snag when we couldn't find a modder to create a Player Model and we don't want to buy one from the GG store because we are original. If you are intrested in so please Either post here or notify me a other way such as Msn,X-fire ect ect..

Your not going to get ANYONE if you have a post like that. You need to specify a couple of things first:

1 (and most importantly). Does your job pay?
    2. Are you serious about this game?
    3. Do you have a website?
    4. What kind of game is it (some people are good with future games, some with old games, etc.)

I am sorry, but not many people will go for the job if it doesn't pay, they have families to feed (unless they would do it for experience only, but that is uncommon.) No one will work for you if you aren't serious about the game, because they want to have a job that won't dump the work onto them. You should also have a website to back it up and to post info on. And lastly, if someone was only good at making futuristic and shiny robotic models, then they won't be good at a medieval game, but I am not just talking about the time, but everything else, like if it was a war game, or a simulation, or anything like that.

You're kind of at odds in your logic there, content packs are ideal for prototyping and as placeholders in the absence of man-hours/skill/funds to create original work. Not to say you won't find someone interested in helping you, but don't rule out content packs as an asset.

    To Tyler,
1.It depend's on the person who will apply we will pay you on the ammount of skill you have if you make a sphere with a box on it and call it a Zombie we will most likely turn you down and not pay you. But if you actually take time and make a Sword,Monster or whatever and our Team likes it we will most likely come up with a contract for the price you work such as Per model the whole game or as a Salary.
2.Yes, our team is dedicated to the game and we all split the work evenly for those who can do what So far we have about 4 model creator's and 3 Major Modder's such as myself.
3.The web master is currently constructing our site as we speak.
4.As I posted in the main post The game takes place in the Medieval Era which will have no future item's as of now but we are still discussing the main twist of that area of the game.

    To Ross,
We didn't completely remove the use of Content Pack's but we are hoping we won't have to buy one but if we have to we shall.
