Datablock editor

Most of our modelers / level-designers don't know the first thing about writing code, nor do they want to. There should be a way to load, edit, and save datablocks completely and 100% without even knowing which file the code is stored in.
The code to load and edit them is already there, so I can't imagine it would be too terribly difficult to save them. Perhaps something like selecting the datablock under edit->object tree, and editing them in the 'edit tab' as though they were no different from any other object would be nice..
