Map2Dif problem

Hello
I got the urge to create a Tribes 2 map for some reason and am trying to set everything up again. I got worldcraft working and everything seems to be doing whats its suppose to. Except for converting the .map files from Worldcraft to .dif
I'm using Map2Dif and when I place the .map file into the Map2Dif.exe it turns the .map file into a .dv file which I believe is a Digital Video file and the file appears to want to open with quicktime. I have no idea why this is.
Any ideas?

QT associates them because some programs use the extension DIF for digital video and it can open them. But it seems you figured that out, even if QT didn't.

I went into quicktime preferences and made it so its not assoiciated with .dif files and when I did that my .dv interiors switched to .dif
