Split Forum Threads into Pages

Many times i have seen forum threads that are very long, therefor take a long time to load...
Would it not be better to have an option to split these forum threads into seperate pages (e.g posts 1-20 -> page 1, 21-31 -> page 2 rather than 31 threads on one page)
