Error : Houdini / Also : ".DIF" Export ?

Hello,

1. Run-Time Error
====================
Having installed the $99 DEMO edition of Houdini,
along with VC$ 2005 Express of course,
it gave me the following error when attampting
to run it:

Wrong version of "hserver.exe";

...Any comments ?

2. ".DIF" Exporter
====================
Also, does anyone know if and how
to export my Houdini-made artwork
into a ".DIF" ?
Or, how to export into some
third-party format such as ".OBJ"
or "MilkShape", and THEN into ".DIF" ?

1.The License Server of SESI is doing something odd, I would post in the Houdini Exporter section here or at SideEffects site: many posts there about their License Server schema....and licensing the software on various OS.

2.The ROP is only for DTS/DSQ formats; DIFF is not supported.

GG's Constructor is for DIFF formatted shapes...it's free, and made by Garage Games....

Sent this and other questions to your e-mail.

1. Check the sideFX site to see what the issues could possibly be.
2. No. DIF is not supported. Only DTS is supported by the exporter.
