Anyone porting torque to the xbox? Just curious, I'd do it myself but I don't have much experience with torque yet.

According to what I read torque is probably already compatible with Xbox. Halo was written in Opengl so Xbox has that support, and torque has both d3d and opengl. The only thing that may cause problems would be the scripts, in not exactly sure how Xbox would work with torques scripts may have to be c++. Not quite sure though.

Hey havent got an Xbox, but it can now run Linux so shouldnt be too hard. Hoping the experts can eventually get linux running without a hardware mod. Then we could have a cd which boots linux and runs a Torque game.

Guess GG would then get a lot of exposure as MS come after them :)

I didn't really think about it, but I suppose a Torque game on an XBOX isn't too far from reality as I originally thought it would be - after reading MS's XBOX docs and the Linux project docs. Then again, what do I know?

Maybe a team/site should be formed to focus at XBOX TGE porting :)
