Maybe pass it along to the GG folks to setup hooks for this.. hint hint?

Of course, the only plus for non-game applications is that you can download it and tinker with it before forking over the bucks. *grumble*

Their terms actually aren't that bad. It's a binary version, free to use without restriction for freeware games, free to use without restriction for commercial games under $10, commercial games priced at $10 or more require a distribution license (which is free and is basically Havok verifying that you've included their logos).Of course, the only plus for non-game applications is that you can download it and tinker with it before forking over the bucks. *grumble*

Great news!

This sounds all good to me, it would be a bonus I reckon to say that you have Havok physics in your game.Great news!

@David - I've been reading your comments about physics in games recently. I'm with you man. Tumbling boxes, 'sploding environment, ragdoll...fun stuff but has nothing to do with game play. Games using physics for actual game play hold my attention far longer than a ragdoll system. Games like Armadillo run, Gish, etc. are still my favorites.

The content tools you get are pretty slick....me thinks an integration with the dts export process would be a fun project. Any takers? =)@David - I've been reading your comments about physics in games recently. I'm with you man. Torque and Havok! WOW! Can you imagine?

Edit->Got it, and it looks like it's going to be tough getting all of Havok's systems into Torque! The physics system shouldn't be to hard though, just take the Physx code for Torque, and change the Physx calls to Havok calls...

Good-bye simple physics! Unless GarageGames starts work on including this for, say, TGE 1.7 (*cough*hint hint *cough*), I'm gunna see if I can get this in my engine. I doubt I can, but it would be sweet if I manage to!Edit->Got it, and it looks like it's going to be tough getting all of Havok's systems into Torque!
