Mac OS Leopard and TNL

Hello there,
I am a student and currently I am testing Torque3D with the IndiLicence and just wanted to test the network abilities. I am using Torque on MacOS X Leopard and figured out, that OpenTNL is not that pleased to be compiled with gcc4.
Is there any possibility to test the network abilities without the 250 $ Indie Licence of TNL or the problems I discovered with OpenTNL?
Any hint you might have is welcome - thanks a lot in advance,
with kind regards,
hagbard2nd
