A few organic models

Hey everyone!
I've been on this forum for a while, but never showed any of my 3d work so I decided to put up some stuff.
I'll share anything you want, but most of it's not finished yet...

Love the bird! What poly count are they?

Thanks! The bird is 2106 tris, and the other thing is 2888 tris. I'm almost done rigging the bird, but blender 2.46 has some new toys I'm playing with before I start animating it.

I love the bird as well, though the water dragon is pretty sweet!

Yup the bird was really cool. I like the fact that it has kind of two rows of "wings", but even so, you can see that it is not suposed to fly.

Thanks for the comments! I promise I'll get a few more models up here real soon. I've been looking for work lately so I really haven't had time.
Anyway yeah everyone likes the bird, I've been told it looks like a chocobo a few times. I'm sure the water dragon would be more impressive if it had a texture, but they were both school projects so I haven't really worked on them since.
