Garage Games involved in the latest T2 patch fix ?

I am curious to know if (read: hoping that) Garage Games is or will be involved in the "follow-up" work to the recently released Tribes 2 Final Update.
Sierra has now admitted to at least one problem in the engine, regarding dual AMD processors.
However, many players are experiencing a great deal more UE crashes than ever before.
What puzzles me is that I recall hearing that SMP was tested during the 25026 beta test, and beta testers apparently said it was working fine. 25026 beta also received accolades for reducing UEs, but this 25026 final appears to have increased the UEs experienced by some players, including those that had good luck with 25026 beta.

Yeah the latest patch caused more problems and see more bugs then the last one. But the game-play isn't that laggy anymore and video lag has disappeard for me, but that's it. The one vehicle invo GUI common bug looks like it has returned that when you hit buy button the dialog doesn't go away, it just stays there until you move out of the station.

For me this update fixed every one of my problems: UE, Lag, Ping, ect. I think this patch is great. My question is, those of you that are having problems, did you do a clean install then go right to the final patch? They say if you patch over the last patch, you might get some old code mixed in.DigitalEagle

Marweas neither confirmed nor denied anything (cough).
DigitalEagle, ya, I did a fresh install. one of my buddies just did a fresh install and his UEs got better, but they're not gone.
I just tried TeamRabbit2 again, and got jerky play followed by a UE. woohoo.

z0dd, in the first 1/2 of tonight's Tribes Talk, guesses it's a bad compile...Marweas neither confirmed nor denied anything (cough).

z0dd's evidence of a bad compile was pretty conclusive.
my only (somewhat tongue-in-cheek) remaining question for GG is, how could you trust Sierra to do the compile ?
but then again, I'm guessing it was part of their original contract, thereby answering my own question once again :P
further evidence of Sierra's ineptitude: they claim that the fix will come in late November, not to satisfy any remaining fans, but to coincide with their T2 retail re-release plans.

judging by the lack of GG attention to this thread, I guess I answered my own post.z0dd's evidence of a bad compile was pretty conclusive.
