it is way to obfuscated.

if you want people to know something don't hide the information for sake of "cool" or "slick" scripting.

there is know way to know what anything is or links to.
also having a little tiny fixed size windows is silly some people have more than 640x480 to play with. I spent about 2 seconds.

I give it a 1 on useablity.

look at this site link and just count how many times your site does everything listed.

I don't like sites that have buttons with no information as to what they do. I don't want to have to move the mouse over the button and read my browser's status bar to see where it goes or what it might do.

The thing I find most ironic about webpagesthatsuck.com is that that website really sucks (kinda the point but at the same time distracting from the point).

The most important part of a website is to be useable. You want the person looking at your site to immediately know how to navigate through and find what they are looking for. With that in mind...

1) you need to make your buttons bigger and more obvious.
2) your buttons need to have labels that easily translate to where they navigate too
3) The logo of your website should always be a link back to the homepage of your site even if you are on the homepage. For example this website does that.
4) Don't limit yourself to grayscale colors because your background image is in grays (this flows into the next one)
5) Your text doesn't stand out at all. Give it some color. A light blue maybe.
6) there is a lot of 'white' space. In other words space that is empty

The graphics are nice but they are pretty bland. Nothing really catches your eye. This could be a good thing but in the least your buttons should stand out a little.

All in all for one day of work it's pretty good. Keep pluggin'.

You also need to run your text through a dictionary.

It looks nice, but like other said, its not very useful.

I hate it when people cram all the info the website has into a tiny little frame in the middle of the page. On top of that, the text is tiny.. so those of use running a good resolution can hardly see it.

Also, like others said, the buttons need to give you some kind of clue what they do.

The overall look is pretty nice, but just make it wider. Take advantage of the modern technology that lets us run at resolutions higher than 640x480. I'd reccomend making it take up an entire 800x600 broswer window.

It doesnt support high resolutions in the fact that your content stays fixed at high resolution but your image around it moves.

I noticed that too.

My res is at 1280x1024, but I always run my browser in a roughly 800x600 window. When I take it full screen, your website gets all messed up. The text is like halfway in the border and halfway out of it to the left side.

The biggest mistake is defenetly the interface buttons with no text on.. defenetly fix that!
