How hard would it be?

I realize this will all sound like nuts. I know it's hard to get into the business, but it can't hurt to ask. I have a title being developed with other software (http://www.tcentertainment.webs.com/baldingoverweightman.htm) that I would like to get on wii eventually. I'm downloading a demo of the game builder and engine right now. If I happen to get the hang of it (I'm talking long-term here.) and somehow in a bizarre-universe type set of circumstances I were able to get approval from warioworld.com, how much different is the wii torque kit from the original? I'm just hypothesizing. I realize this would be exremely difficult and would take time. How expensive is the wii license, and what resources would I need? I just want to know if I should invest time in this at all, because if I can't eventually skip to wii, I'll stick with what I'm using. Or, if there's anyone out there willing to make the aforementioned game for wiiware...?

We can't really discuss pricing right now since that is still up in the air on a number of sides currently. TorqueWii is a port of TGE by Pronto for their Zorro game. It would take some time (definitely), money (of course), and programming finesse (definitely). I would recommend that you start jumping through the Nintendo hoops to see if they're interested. Then start looking at middleware solutions.

If you are using Flash, you might think about testing it out in the Wii Browser. There's been a couple of fun games designed for the Wii with Flash. Of course, it's not a real "get it to the Wii" solution, but it's a good start design-wise.

I wondered whether you wouldn't be able to tell the price after I had already posted it. I don't use flash, at least not yet. Do you think the nintendo would be interested at all? Thanks for the reply.

I don't know. It looks like a humorous game. The only way to know is apply and see what they say. The worst they can say is no. Which means you'll still keep on keepin' on on the platform you're using.
