*it might look like a lot of info but trust me I put more time into writing it than you will reading it*

*WARNING*-You may want to skip down to the bottom to the requirements before reading this.


Drew and I are looking for 2-7 members to join our team at greenface productions.
We are age 15 and as you can see we are not old. So age does not matter. Our game is an mmorpfps horror. Before you think, "Ahh great not another mmorpg/fps dreamer." let me explain to you the idea. Remember this can all be changed if needed or desired by members of the group. But the main idea needs to be somewhat concrete.



-----Idea-----
The game is based in 2070-2072. In 2070 a solar eclipse blocked the sun for an extended period of time, and that caused an epidemic among all unsheltered living creatures. Only a small percentage of humans managed to make it into shelter. This epidemic was able to infect and control. Depending on the creature the new virus would take bodies, infect and maximize the capabilities of that creature in order to stay alive. After the eclipse passed the humans breached the surface again only to find desolate lands(or what at first they though was desolate and empty). Inevitably turmoil encased the human population. With humans at each others throat and extinction near; it was decided to break into peaces. The people were divided into three main parts(All the 3 groups are nameless at this point). The split in the beginning was very miner, and only caused by different beliefs. One group thought advancing technology was most important. The second group felt securing the people was of the utmost importance. The last group fabricated a new idea of which they would become one with the earth and its so called "forces". Surprisingly all of the groups ideas worked out smoothly. This is where the player comes in. The player will choose what he or she supports.

-----gameplay------
Depending on which organization the player decides to play the outcome will be different. The technology organization has more advanced weapons and ideas like plasma weapons, shields, and vehicles. The securing group uses still advanced weapons but not plasma; they use more recent technology using metals and explosions. The final organization uses the newly discovered somewhat magical technology. They are basically all equal in strength but each organization's different use of warfare makes many fun types of gameplay. The organizations split into different classes(more to be developed). All gameplay will be fps( possibly with the ability to look 3rd person in safe areas and such).

------Magical organization-------
The main idea for the magical is an fps magic blasting character. The magical one has the three mages: Earth mage(Assaulter), Fire mage(Gunner), Water/ice mage(Medic); A sniper(undecided name) class which uses funneled electricity to shoot. The engineer explained in ------occupation----- . ..... 1 or more classes to be added....(The Phantom(spec ops) class is being decided now.)

--magical gameplay--
The idea of magical gameplay is to unluck imaginary fun when you can roam around as a mage, sniper, or engineer +more later. The mages can use small charges of their type to take down their foes. The mage can, as that person gets better, use much larger blasts or even explosions of fire,ice, or rock. A feature will allow the players to combine powers. -- I.e. A fire mage in desperation gets his rock mage friend to combine forces and they create powerful magma/lava attacks. The two mages lunge the molten lava, with its napalm like attributes, into the air and it rains down on their foes obliterating them. --

------Technological organization------
The technological organization uses plasma weapons(possible room for more or different name than plasma) as their main arsenal of destruction. The classes include but are not limited to: Assaulter, Gunner, Sniper, Medic, Special operatives, and Engineer. The assaulter uses general rifles to damage the rival. Gunners use heavy weaponry like rocket propelled grenades, machine guns, turrets, and so on. Snipers use.... well... snipers. Spec ops use an array of silent weapons including silencers, darts, tasers ect.

--Techno gameplay--
The use of plasma weapons creates a different feel than the original bullet. The assaulters job is mainly to just cause chaos with the use of rifles, sub-machine guns, pistols ect.(more inventive weapons needed). Gunners will use heavy armaments including rpgs, forms of gatling guns, rockets, and mobile heavy weps. Snipers are used to help back other characters. Medics will heal and help people with small arms(Including low power rifles). Spec ops will work on being silent and sneaking their way through while killing. Engineers can use the special types of weapons explained in ----occupation---- .

-------Secure organization---------
This organization is somewhat the same as the technological organization. This group will have only subtle changes to rearrange the gameplay. i will not go in depth with this one as I have basically explained it already. Mostly different iweapons, abilities, goals, and vehicles(don't worry they have many more differences but none are truly extreme except the fact this organization uses equipment more like what we know today(Although we can push the equipment to look and feel cooler since I and many others are sick of m16, p90, ak47, ect.)

The main idea i want to get out is three different methods of warfare all in the triangle.

Mage(fantasy but cooler) ------- Secure(Today but slightly more in the future and cool) ----- Techno(sci-fi)




Ok, now thats about 35% of game play.(I will try to sum this up as much as possible)

Each group is constantly at war with eachother. The game will revolve around 4 ideas: 1st economy , stocks , and the creators of the stocks. 2nd The pvp/teamwork the players must be involved in to succeed. 3rd The players co-op fights( less pvp) where players of the same organization work together to achieve goals like missions. 4th The players solo gameplay where he or she just goes out into wild grounds and fights npcs.


-------Economy,stocks,creators----------*this could get confusing if your not a stock person----
The games money does not appear from nowhere. Each organization has a net total money count. As players make money they buy things from their organization's city, and other players(When purchased from other players a 2% tax is placed which is moved to the city funds).That money does not disappear as you see in many mmo's like wow, sro, lc, ect. That money gets placed into the organization's total money. What this means is that players define how rich their organization is. I.e. "I go out with 3 friends and go through the mission 'surge protection'(lol just example) we earn in all 12k,520$. We find enough equipment peices for our engineer to build 1 heavy stength barricade worth an average of 8.23k. So we go to the city and buy ourselves a low grade mech warrior worth 12.52k. The city at this point has 5.7 billion and now it has 5.700012520 billion(lol).
Now we sell our cade for 8k since we did not want to find a good buyer. The buyer must pay 8160$ since the 2% tax of 8k is 160$. We only earned 8k but the city is up 160$ and the buyer is down 8160$." Now you might say "wait he just said they made the cade" yes I did and let me explain that. I will separate it but remember we are still in the eco,stocks,creators section.

-----occupation------ remember organization's level with exp so the more you do it the better you get---
players can do any occupation they like and as many as they like. The player can choose from: prison gaurd, trade disrupter, Evac unit , Conquerer*(explained way later) , Trader, engineer(the creator of equipment not the class), ranger, and military unit(more to come. infact more needed)

-Rangers roam the areas near their cities and capture the opposing organization's people. They then bring them to one of their organization's prison where the prisoners are contained

-Prison Gaurds try to combat the prisoners to keep them in the prison.(the idea is inevitably the prisons will overflow and the prisoners will overthrow the gaurds. At this point the prisoners can go into the prisons main hall and get their equipmentback. Ohh yeah, a player never loses exp or equipment when he or she dies but only loses it temporarily once captured. The players equipment is then placed in a safe where all the prisoners equipment is held. It stays there until the prisoners overwhelm the prison and retrieve his or her lost goods. Each player can only get the things in the safe taken from them.)

-Military units are the organization's weapon. A person can sign up to become militant for his or her organization. That person then follows orders given by the organization and will most often be signed to protect other cities.

-traders feed the economy by taking goods from city to city *later explained why

-trade disrupters are like highway men and try to stop the trade and take the goods for their organization increasing that organization's money.

-Evac units main goal is to fly around waiting for calls from players to evacuate the player from an area and take them back. They can also drop in troops of both npcs and real players to do missions and seiges.

-Engineers just use the high tech equipment like mechs, turrets, vehicles, planes, ect.

---------------pvp/teamwork----------------
This is the idea anyone can lay seige on any other city. Cities can be lost or gained by each organization. Once a group of people are in a cities main hall for more than a selected period of time the city's owners change hands into the new owners. *This idea is what a Conquerer would do; take over cities.*
This idea also plays on the money/stock idea. The new city must then get money and supplies from other cities via Traders. Otherwise the city can not affourd defenses. (now your thinking wait how would that defense of the city idea work. Well it is somewhat simple. Once the organization has enough money it then holds a poll for all of the people what they would like to do with the money. They have options like: build defences on this/that city, create an offensive army to seige that city at that time, and more to be fabricated.)
The corrupted also seige the cities.


-------------Co-op--------------------
While players are not destroying their opposing organization they can join similar leveled players in missions to combat the corrupted(the bodies the virus has control over). The players also can just fight normal corrupted spread across the world.


----------single---------------
No this is not a single player mode. It is still online with other people but what this is saying is that players can also do the co-op stuff alone(or some of it). Most likely people will want to be in groups for the reason I will explain later.

------------Everything I missed---------------
The Game is mmo so many people will play on a single server. My goal is to get over 1000 people per server. I will do this by splitting the server into three servers. One handles physics, one handles location and general info transfers, and the last is pure voice chat. I hope that is possible. Also one major thing I managed to miss is I hated games where one level 24 could 2 hit kill a lvl 9 with out even trying. I want this game to have more tactical entertainment. So it works like so: the players actual level and stats effect his or her ability by 20%(The real big reason to level and get better is the ability to use better weapons/armor/vehicles/ect these are not part of that 20%), the equipment effects the player by 80%. (I.e. a level 43 sniper sees a lvl 80 of a different organization. On most normal games the 80 guys will storm over the 43 with 1-2 wacks and all the 43 can do is stand there. Well this time the 43 sniper has a chance if that person remains covered and keeps dealing damage. The sniper sees the 80 assaulter first and manages to get 2 headshots of sniper to the 80 before he sees the sniper. Now the lvl 80 has 33500 of 35000 health left(also health will be numbered that increases but those numbers will not just pop up on your screen when you deal that certain amount of damage). The 80 storms over to the sniper as most would and then out of nowhere the snipers 3 friends show up and see this 80 rampaging towards them. The two lvl 41 gunners lay down heavy fire at the 80 and the sniper keeps laying as many head shots as possible. The lvl 80 fire mage manages to throw one huge blast of a firebomb type shot. That hits the ground near the three and kills the two gunners but leaves the sniper in an inch od his or her life. The sniper backs up and once more gets another shot on the well armored mage. The mage now throws another devostating blast but this time the good cover picked by the sniper protects him or her and the sniper lands a final blow. The 80 now appalled of his or her death runs home to his or her mom and cries and demands that the parents buy wow since it is extremely unfair to the lower lvls. lol wouldn't we all)

Well I think thats it about the idea. Remember though this idea is not perfect yet or complete until the members of the team say it is.

Quite possibly the biggest wall of text since the Great Wall of China. You are going to make an MMORPG and you're 15 years old. Right. Convince me why I should not be skeptical.

Louie, I may sound like your father (dang, just realizing that I'm only a few years short here; time for some mid-life crisis stuff), but rather than shooting for big, shot for doable. I realize that you youngsters today are way smarter than we've all been back in the days, but the scope of what you have set out to create is something not even a team of battle-hardened industry pros whips up easily.

But then, maybe one just needs to bang his head hard against reality for once. At least I did...
