Blue Sky - Hacking Simulator Game

This is actually pretty fun. I was skeptical at first. Gotta add more to involve the gamer. Maybe some cool cutscenes to guide your story more and stuff (maybe you already got it I dunno). At first, I thought the demo just conisted of those first 3 targets..so it seemed short at first, but after I figured out how to find more hosts, it was quite fun!

My only suggestions:

Just add more to get the player into it. Like for a game over (trace gets to zero) have something that makes the player scream out "DAMMIT!" Like, maybe his interface will get all screwy and some message will pop up by whoever is tracing him from the other end. Or maybe a cutscene of the guy getting arrested, or something. Again, maybe you have this stuff in the works already, I dunno.

Overall, very intersting concept. And surprisingly fun to play!

Wish I could see it; however, my windows media player install is a bit hosed, so it crashes when it tries to start up (do to a bug in mmswitcher.ax, I believe; does it try to play an intro video?)

I don't suppose anyone has some screenies I can look at until I get this fixed? :)

There's no movie as far as I know. It's basically just a big GUI. I can't post a pic cuz I'm retarted. But it's basically just a blue interface where you type in commands at a prompt. It lists programs the "hacker" has at his disposal on the right. A list of servers is on the right above the software list. A map of the world on the top right, an action report on the top center, and the server output on the top left. Basically, the idea is that it is software that the hacker wrote to help him in his hacking exploits..atleast from what I gather. Zoltan..post a pic..I suck at explaining things. It is mostly a text GUI..but its cool. Hey, zoltan, what's the point of the mouse? Can you do anything with it?

Game doesnt work for me. I get a "cant write to memory error".

I have a small problem too. I don't know what to do about this, but nomatter what button I click on It gives me Illegle operation.
