Splitting a graphic into cells in Torque

I've noticed that when I divide a spritesheet into rows and heights in Torque, when I go to set the cellheight smaller than 54 pixels, the program immediately resets it back to 54 pixels.

Is Torque limiting spritesheets to only 54 pixels high? That is REALLY bad if so. Who the hell wants to resize all their images to be so unnecessarily large?
