Poser and Content Paradise Users

I know that there are several Poser users in the game development community. If any of you have purchased a RuntimeDNA product from Content Paradise (now owned by Smith Micro), make sure you have backups of those products. RDNA just relayed an important announcement from Smith Micro concerning your ability to download your RDNA purchases from CP. ( http://www.runtimedna.com/news.php?viewStory=1107 )

I wouldn't normally make this announcement here but since there is only a short amount of time to make your backups, I thought I'd mention it. Thanks.

Thanks James, thats a good heads up. Poser has changed companies so many times I never trust the current owners as content providers. I tend to stick with Daz3d and Renderosity for my content. It really boggles my mind as to why smith micro are cutting such lucrative ties. The poser content market is absolutely huge .. maybe they are wanting shot of Poser as well, wouldnt suprise me if it was sold off - again !! :)

No problem. *nod* That seems to be the thoughts of most of the Poser community, too. I just hope the next time it changes hands that it is with someone who appreciates the end users.
