Is it just me, or is there never anybody in the IRC channel? Every time I join, there's just me and HF_Bot (a bot, obviously) in there, and nobody ever joins. :(

I've never seen fewer than ten people in the #GarageGames channel. (Although most of them just sit there silently, which is NO fun! :) )

I reckon you're probably on the wrong server - check the IRC page (follow the link in the right hand column of the GG site) for the correct details.

That's exactly what I've been doing... going to that page and opening the Java client applet. Has the channel moved and the page not updated?

Other channel? I've never seen more than 3 people in #GarageGames. These days it's usually 1.

Oohh, hello hello, there are now TWO servers listed on the IRC page. I frequent (occasionally) the www.maxgaming.net server, in which there are normally plenty of people... How come the java applet now goes to the homelan server, which is practically desolate? (The #GarageGames channel at least...)

Hmm. The channel appears to actually be on maxgaming.net, not on homelan.

/server irc.maxgaming.net
/join #GarageGames

Homelan offered a channel to GG, so did MGT. The MGT channel is older, so it's more established. And folks didn't see the need to switch servers ;)
