It really depends on what market you're targeting. WoW is huge here for the MMO world, though Lineage is still making huge waves in the Korean/Hong Kong market and was only a ripple here. The Halo franchise is doing rather well, as is the Zelda and Final Fantasy ones. It really depends. Unreal is pretty popular on the PC. If you look at GameFAQs and GameSpot, you'll see a lot of the popular titles from a largely US-based audience. Yes, there are a number of people on both those sites from around the world, but the majority are US/Euro-based.

As for me answering your question, Misifu, that might be of another problem since my my little square box of living is further north from you..

Ah, like GameStop or EB (I guess one-and-the-same now) or GameCrazy or the like.

Yeah Gamestop or EBGames are likely the most popular. I prefer to either get my games from various internet stores or from smaller department stores though.
