Fighting Game Character Concepts

In this thread I will post concepts/designs from a MVC-style fighting game I am co-developing in TGB. The game is set in a future where Earth was nearly destroyed but has regrown over time (i.e. flora and fauna flourishing in crumbling cities and abandoned towns). Human societies have become more tribal in nature and territory wars between the many tribes is common (think feudal Japan). There is a fairly intricate story behind it all, but I will save that for a later time (don't want to reveal too much too soon). Anyways, I'll post more concept pics as I iron them out.

Should you want to contact me in regards to my artwork, feel free to leave me an e-mail at morbidchylde*at*hotmail*dot*com. Put "GarageGames Art" in the subject so I don't accidently delete it thinking it was spam.

CONCEPTS:
Currently Unnamed Character - I tried out a few color schemes and altered the general look a bit from our initial ideas, and eventually settled on a more hulking, vile look for the character.

That looks really cool. I like the freaky sword he has there. :]

Mutant people. Destroyed Earth. Tribes of like-mutated people?
Sounds like the making of a movie.

Just curious about the means to manufacture weapons such like in the concept art... to keep the story believable even for a game.

This is a particularly interesting post to me because my nephew is drawing his first comic book, not sure of details but his art is definitely of professional quality.

Would try to get both of you in touch.. but I can't even get him to help me until he has published.

Keep with it John because you just might have something solid started here.
