Modding an FPS torque game to include enemy voices

Hello there,

I am a professor looking to mod an FPS game to include voices.

The enemies/monsters would have voices that would get louder as you approached them.

What would be the quickest way to accomplish this FPS?

What torque tools/content should I purchase so as to mod it?

I have funding and would be willing to pay for help in developing this.

Thanks!

Torque's not a bad choice, depending on the other details of your design. I'm not sure if they have an educational license or not, but the indie license is quite broad, and you can always upgrade it later.

Unfortunately, it's hard to suggest other tools/content based on your spec. Audacity for sound editing + Torque can do what you describe.
