Help? problem with bone surface exporting

Okay I have gotten the exporter to work really well, but there is a little problem that has me and my programer stumped. I do everthing export the dts just fine then he takes it and puts it in to the game but when he tries to load the animations it crashes and says it is trying to find a unnamed material. I look at the material list in show tool and sure enough it shows a material called unnamed. Now I when and looked at my models and I only have one surface for it, but then I noticed Lightwave gives the bones a surface called bones. It seems that it is exporting this surface, now we have a work around by giving it a file to load called unamed but my programmer says it is taking up texture ram and slowing down the loading. Is there any way to turn off that surface or not have it exported?

Are you sure that's why it's crashing? It always tells me that it couldn't locate a texture called unamed, but it works anyways.

No I am not but that is what my programmer is telling me, I am just the artist. I will have to show him the thread and let him know what you have said.

Yeah, I just recheck it, and I seriously doubt that is what causing the problem. If you could show here everything the console says, someone might be able to help.

Well I guess I was wrong it is not crashing just slowing down the loading time and reporting the error, I am not sure how much that is really effecting the game but my programmer likes to have it all need and clean with little to no bugs. If it is really bugging him I will have him post the problem. Thanks for the response.
