I would like to make a game or tool for architectural visualization, a sim city style game where you can create different styles of housing. Everything from types of houses( victorian style, cape cod, ranch, etc..), to the room disign style, say someone wants a japanaese flare to their room they can drag and drop different elements to get a feel for what the room will look like. then they can render out a walk through to a mov file. I think this would really help people. upgrade packages could be downloaded from major department stores catalogs( target, Ikea,etc..). There are simular programs out there now,but they are not very interactive. I imagine giving the user total control from making there dream house from the ground up.I also think it opens the door for a constant flow of expansion, because not only can the Ikea catalog be modeled and up loaded, different culturial themes will give kids a fun interactive way to create their space. I am fairly new to torque, but I see potential to make this a reality. I think I would like to be able to create neighborhoods as well.

I'd contact garagegames licensing about this, since it sounds like a non-game project.
