Sky Box: How do i change the size?

I want to change the size of the sky box.
because honestly, 256 x 256 is not nearly enough pixels for a good starry sky.
how can i change the sky box to accept images of larger sizes? say, 1024 x 1024, or 2048 x 2048.
i want to make the sky box look realistic.

I have used 512x512 without trouble, though. And it looked crisper than 256x256, but if memory serves, not as crisp as the actual image.

Fairly certain you can use images greater than 256x256, it just downres's them. I think. Could be way off base.I have used 512x512 without trouble, though. And it looked crisper than 256x256, but if memory serves, not as crisp as the actual image.
