Nice! Now that you have the game developed this far, what are you planning to do? Iterate on Shellcore some more, or delve into another game?

I have a very specific plan for Shellcore, and this is v0.33. Every development point is worth 0.03 version points, so I have over 2/3 of the game to create still. The biggest upcoming things are powerups, level mechanics, a level editor and AI.

I'll probably make some basic AI first so that it can be a one-player game as well.

btw- How did it run on your computer?

I didn't note any issues on my computer at work. It lagged a little at the beginning, but I had a lot of things running at the time.

Alright, good! Thanks a million for your feedback!

Back to this question though:

Quote:Iterate on Shellcore some more, or delve into another game?

Right now I'm actually considering doing a side-view adventure game. Hopefully in the spirit of Knytt. Nifflas is my favorite indie developer, mostly because Knytt is my favorite game.

I was in the midst of commercial gaming, (as a gamer) and recently I got feed up with the violent nature of almost every single commercial game. Ironically the games that I have made thus far are far from non-violent, but I'm praying for change, and hopefully my future work will be relaxing and fun.

Sincerely,
Kevin
