How capable is TGE?

by Xell Khaar · in General Discussion · 01/13/2008 (11:27 pm) · 2 replies

I am thinking of purchasing the TGE for the purpose of making an MMO but I would like to know what it can actully produce, is it capable of producing a full MMO world? Or just some puzzle games and stuff? It looks promising but I havn't really seen any games that have been made using it that are actully mmos.

I think the most important aspect when making a MMO would be funding and the team. the engine would be secondary.

But if you have the Funding to sustain the amount of work it'd take to actually create the content for the game, and a team large enough to do so, then i'd have to say torque can be used for that type of game, though because of the reasons stated, most don't actually get created.
