Bandwidth Requirements?

Hi, i've been hunting around for bandwidth requirements for the torque engine. Is it fair to compare it directly to Tribes 2? Or does it depend greatly on the type of game? I doubt i'll be changing any of the networking at all.
I recall seeing some specs thrown about once, but I just can't find the thread now. So anything would be good. Wouldn't hurt for some estimates on server cpu requirements etc. as well. As I believe it may be possible to run multiple servers on a single box if these are fairly low (different ports?).
Isn't GarageGames in some way affiliated with HomeLan? So there could potentially be cheaper hosting for torque games etc.?
The reason I ask, is that I don't really have access to a decent upsteam (256k) to run a server on. And UK hosting prices aren't bad, but that would require buying a whole load of machines etc and pings from the US would suffer (which is no doubt a larger market). Since I think i'll need at least a few 'official servers' for what I want to do any help / opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.
