community advice for new product.

hello all.
im present my developer company from russia. today we have a ready game product. english demoversion for publisher is ready. that product sell in russia.
that a good and interesting title (how i think) is full of the novelty. russian political pinball game.
by playing on pinball table you select russian presidents from commys, dictatorship or democracy and "live" on table with new game mode. subgames, original sounds, tiny animations, graphics and full 3d russia... in short - game was in development 2 year, and its not first our title.

my question is next - what is my next step to find a worl-wide publisher? where i can find an agent?

thank you,
alexey.

Alexey,

Your best bet is to spend some time scouring the IGDA.org and Gamasuta.com websites. They will be able to provide links and resources to answer your question in better detail, unless you are looking at having GarageGames publish the game and represent you to retail publishers. If that is the case take a look at these resources,

Torque Game Engine FAQ

If the GarageGames approach is what you are looking for I believe Jeff Tunnell is the person who can point you to the appropriate contact within GarageGames for the next step(s).

Also This not meant to be insulting or rude, just criticism/advice. I would work harder on the Russian to English translations and presentation of your messages. That will help greatly in finding advice in the future. Many people will skip over posts they cannot easily read because they don't have the time, or feel the individual on the other end lacks abilities to justify the effort of assistance.

I commend you in taking time to speak to us in English, thank you.

www.gamasutra.com is an excellent site for what you are looking for.

You might also try www.gdse.com.

You can post your game on www.madmonkey.net also while you wait for the players site at GarageGames to start.

Good luck to you.

I wasn't being an ass. In my opinion, the prior poster unfairly criticized him for not trying hard enough to type proper english. After reading the criticism, I felt a bit bad for him so I thanked him for putting an effort into at least trying. It was actually an honest comment, no sarcasm intended. I probably should have been more clear that it was more a response to the prior criticism.

If our Russian friend took offense to my comment, then I appologize to him.

As a side note, while stationed in Germany I was sitting in a bar with some friends when a German came up and told us a joke. Here it is (it kinda fits the tone of the derailing comments):

What do you call a person who knows many languages? Multilingual. What do you call a person who knows two languages? Bilingual. What do you call a person who knows one language? American.

Kinda funny if we don't take ourselves too seriously.

I think that he did well... Have you ever tried to speak Russian? Languages don't have the same positioning as English.
