Facial Animation

I am currently working on a project where we will be using significant amounts of facial animation. Unfortunately I am not much of an artist and I am wondering if someone has some pre-made rigs for facial animation and any advice people have for facial animation in Torque.
Thanks,
David

Do you know any places to get decent rigged models for cheap? This is a research project and I have no real budget. Thanks,
David

It doesnt cost an awful lot if you wish to purchase it, either.
But even saying that, if you are willing to put in the extra yards and throw in a few extra bones in the face, and play around with a simple but very effective program such as Milkshape, you can do it frame by frame in that instance.
Then you just gotta export the head as a dts with dsq, then be able to blend animate with the body.
Its only a drama if you want it to be ;-)

Try having a look at Caligari TrueSpace v5 and up. It has an inbuilt facial animator, which can lip sync to just about any phrase you type in. It doesnt cost an awful lot if you wish to purchase it, either.

Torque 3D Owner Affectworks
I have done a bit of facial animation for Torque and the best (and only?) way to do it is to using a bones setup for the face.
Good Luck.
