Enough with D&D Rules!!!

I am so tired of using the same rules for all the rpg games out there.
Ok , So What if we use the Baldur's Gate engine to make some other games? At least the isometric view part of the game. What if there was a star wars game in iso? You could role out your player and then work your way up to be jedi. There would be multiple worlds to explore and creatures to battle. There still could be battle parties. Maybe you could fight an ATAT walker of go on a quest to kill that snarlak pit thing Joba has. Taking control of a land speeder and cruising across vast planes or flying a x-wing into the deathstar.

What if there was a Leisure Suit Larry game in an isometric view. This on might be a little more racy. One could role out a character M/F and then its time to go out on the town. You score points for various things. You can go to a bar and buy some drinks for yourself or someone, careful though you may get a little tipsy. After you leave the bar you can walk around down town go into a 7-11 and rob the place. Make sure you bought a gun from the shop down the street. It would be like GTA just you wouldn't have to steal to many cars.

Last but not least how about the Dark Crystal. You all know the story line. This game would have beautiful world to explore and crazy creatures to defeat. Some of the game play would be different though much like in the star wars game. You would be able to ride on objects like those really big rabbit looking things and even fly with wings over gorges or up to a floating castle.

Maybe its just me I like the Iso view however I am looking for something more and not limited to D&D rules

i really don't know the D&D rules, mostly because i haven't played dungeons and dragons. even though, i do agree with having different rules to go bye. its not just d&d, look at final fantasy, how many games use a party system, exp. points, summons, and characters with lost memory/a cause to fight/or avenging a death of someone? it applies to both worlds, pc and console.
