Right click on the Torque Game Engine Advanced project in the solution explorer, and click on properties. This will bring up property pages for that project using the current active configuration.
Choose Linker/General and there will be a field called Output File this contains the name and location of the executable which is created in the build.
Try checking the modification date of the executable to ensure that in is in fact newly built.

You need to change the default game (MOD) that is run by TGEA.
If you move this to a TGEA private forum, I can give you instructions on editing the scripts etc.
Edit You can also specify the directory by using the following commands:
TGEA.exe -game MODDIRECTORY
eg: TGEA.exe -game demo

If you go to the menu and select Community > Forums, you will see a big list of forums. At the top of that screen there is a link to manage your subscriptions. Click it and then check the boxes for the forums you want to subscribe to. Click the Apply button and they will now show up in your new posts and forum list.

I'll do one better, I'll teach you how to subscribe to forums since there may be other areas that you have access to, but aren't seeing. If you go to the menu and select Community > Forums, you will see a big list of forums.
