Updater for TGE/TGEA?

Hi,
just wondering how to do an updater for TGE/TGEA files... I know there's this resource(http://www.garagegames.com/index.php?sec=mg&mod=resource&page=view&qid=10800) already, but my problem is I don't have a server... So, what should I do???
