How can I make an executable from a game made with TGB?I currently have the demo version but am seriously considering buying.Am I going to need to buy other software or go through some other process to package a game?I hope that I can just do everything from TGB.I am coming from a graphics background so i'm trying to keep things as simple as possible.Having said that,I understand that game development is NOT a simple indeavor!Thanx for any help.

Thanx Jason...I found what I was looking for"Build".I was only trying to see how much faster the demos would run compiled as opposed to from within the App.This is just a hobby right now so I was considering purchasing the "Indie" license.I have no intention of ever making a game for profit,as I lack the programming skills to do it.Also,I have helped make game content for others projects so I know it takes tons of work to put together even the simplest of games.Word of mouth is that "Torque" is one of the best engines for someone just learning to code, like myself, and I must say I really like the way it is layed out.I'm sure i'll have many questions in the days to come...:). Thanx again.

If you make artistic content for other games, maybe we can work out an arrangement sometime.

Torque is awesome. Sure, it's not the latest and greatest engine out there, but it's affordable and capable enough for most small studios and hobbyists with realistic goals. It's popular to put down Torque in some circles, but I generally find much of that criticism to be based upon assumptions instead of facts. One major reason for Torque getting my support is that I have substantial respect for the GarageGames staff. If you make artistic content for other games, maybe we can work out an arrangement sometime.

Sounds great.I need to look through some of the tuts on modeling for the TS engine.I make models for this other game engine I have, but will not mention here, with 3DS Max.I use physique instead of Max's native bones system because I can't find any importers that work with native bones. It's a really buggy engine.I really wish I had looked around more before I bought what I have now.Already I can tell that "Torque" is much better.Live and learn I suppose.
