American Express Gift Cards

I got one of these cards for christmas, I was wondering if I could use it to buy something off this site.

It does not have my name
Its a says "a gift for you".

Has anyone used one of these cards before?

I think you can log into the site and then set up your ZIP and stuff. That reminds me, I still have a Visa card in my wallet.

I just used one of those cards on Amazon. It was a little weird putting my name as "AT&T Delivers" or something like that while using my address and zip code. Everything went through just fine though. It doesn't appear that GG takes American Express, however:

"For your convience we accept the following payment options:

* VISA
* MasterCard
* MoneyOrder or BankCheck (USD)"
