TGE 1.5 source download?

I want to try TGE on Linux, but the .bin installer segfaults and dumps core after I accept the license agreement. I posted about this in the Linux forums but haven't received any response after three days.

Is there a source download I can try instead?

AFAIK, there is not a source download as that would negate the need for a license (other than publishing). I'm not sure why the installer would fail under Kubuntu. I'm also not sure exactly who put together the demo install package for the Linux version. I know people have had difficulties in the past with various distros and the installer, but I hadn't heard anything recently (until now). I'll scout about the linux forums and see if I can find anything.

Thanks. If it wouldn't add too much to the file size, leaving future versions of the installer unstripped would at least allow those with problems to submit useful stack traces.
