Hello. I am trying to make a game somewhat like this.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZUH_AvFJyg&feature=related
The platform tutorial uses tilemaps, as a result I have no knowledge of how to dev using standard art and per pixel collision. Basically my current project is a modified platformer tutorial.
So basically I need to know how I would use standard art (like a 64x64 player sprite, fullscreen background, various size props.. etc)
---------edit--------
Ok I solved this problem but I have another question. I don't really want to anoy people by posting questions alot but posting them is usualy the fastest way to get feedback on the current problem.
What would you suggest as a way to ask questions without flooding this forum with my "question of the day". For example im currently wondering how I change levels since it would be a very bad idea to make the game one huge level..
