General architecture / use of tools to make a game w/ Torque

I've been lurking on this forum for a few weeks now, and I've grown ever more excited at the thought of getting the engine and tinkering with making my own game.

I am curious about how all the parts are put together. Meaning, I have used Worldcraft before to make some (really awful) counter-strike levels, and WC always needed a wad file for the textures.

When you are working on a mission / whatever your game requires, how do you tie in the textures from a wad file, the interior bits from a WC file, the objects from whatever 3d editor you are using, as well as the textures needed for whatever objects you have in the game?

I guess I'm looking for a very, VERY high level view on how all of these parts are put together with Torque - it's probably something I've missed in the forums or resources, or it's page 2 of the documentation once you purchase the engine, but either way, I am curious to know how it all fits together.

Thanks,
Mike
