CVS warning (not related to GG)

Just to save anyone else the hours I spent last night trying to work out why cvs processes initiated on my Windows machine were hanging..
There's a problem with using a 1.11.1 client with a remote 1.11.2 server - it fails to finish after e.g. a commit or an update. The action appears to complete fine, but the client doesn't disconnect.
I don't know if this is specific to the server running on Linux, but I know cvsnt isn't 1.11.2 yet so I figure anyone here running a 1.11.2 server is probably doing it under Linux.
Incidentally, this is the first time I've touched Linux in a long time. I junked my Windows server and decided to go with Debian - I've used several distros in the past, but this is the first time I've used Debian. It rocks.
