Elf Dynamics 101

Just wondering, are elves going too be the long range sharp shooters, or the sneaky rats that move swiftly from shadow too shadow stalking their target? Or are there going too be two different elf guines? (like forest elf=good with all range weapon, and dark elf= quick, quiet and unseen)

Overall, this shouldn't be a difficult question to answer though. If anyone involved in the story (Bryan, Bob, Martin, James of course) thinks otherwise, feel free to say so.

Elves are cohabitors of nature and are generally peaceful, seeking to live their lives in such a way that their mother earth will not suffer the drawbacks of their personal issues. Therefore, elves typically will attempt to minimize casualities by taking out an enemy quickly and swiftly, by either picking him off from afar or by avoiding the enemy altogether. Stealth and speed are the trademarks of the elven race, and they use them with an efficiency that is revered by the other races, although despised when used against them.
Dark Elves, the members of the elven race that have turned to the darker ways, still carry the heritage of their brothers. Although still maintaining their status as swift and silent fighters, they are known throughout the world as deadly killers rather than efficient protectors. Their methods of attack range from bow to blade, with their keen elvish sight and deadly speed being put to the test as they strike as assassins against their prey. Their motives are unknown to most, but their status is legendary. No man or beast dare provoke the wrath of a Dark Elf unprepared, even another Dark Elf, unless he is a fool.
