Flightsim

Hi everyone,

i am evaluating engines to create a flightsim-style game. It won't have realistic physics and will be arcadeish. I know there have been flightsim projects with torque, so it seems the platform is suiteable. I also saw that there is an addon which implements a lot flightsim stuff. But i am a total noob regarding c++, i can program c# tough. What is lacking for a flightsim for me is primarily 3d clouds, but i guess for the rest i could get far with scripting only.
I would be very happy if someone woh already did or started a similar project could answer some of my questions:
- would you recommend TGE(A) to creat an arcade flightsim (assuming without big changes in c++)?
- would it be better to start off in Torque X with the latest 3d beta (does it support big ladscapes?) because of my c# background? Or is torque X not really suited for such a project? I really would like to go this way.
- what other engine would you recommend? Most i checked lack in the terrain features, or are only graphics engines and require good c++ knowledge to really get something out of them.

Thanks for all the answers
