Quote:Almost all engine's.. or software in general.. like music and movies, are not owned by the purchaser. What you purchase is the ability to use it, but it's not the same things as ownership. Even video games when you buy them in a store, you don't own the game on the disk, so you can't resell any of these things.

Technically you can sell your game CD on ebay or to GameStop/EBgames, but I see your point.

The question should be who doesn't read the EULA..... Oh thanks for proving that point.

Since you are intending to sell a "previously owned" copy of Torque, are you also planning on offering any sort of discount since its a "second hand" copy that you are passing along? I would hate for someone to buy used for the same price that they can buy new ;)

Technically you are selling a copy of your Torque License, seeing how you will still be able to keep a copy of the SDK on your machine which is a EULA infraction if you don't own the License.

Couple of points, then I'm closing the thread:

--TGE-A does not show up on the comments section of a poster's information. The original owner does own an Indie TGE-A license.

--You cannot transfer Indie licenses to anyone, for any reason. That is clearly stated in the EULA.

--Various comments (mostly by the original poster, although some others egged him on) are not professional, and not appropriate for the forums.
