S3SuperSavage Video Card Crash

by Alex \"bathala\" Rufon · in Torque Game Engine · 08/30/2002 (6:48 am) · 0 replies

NOTE: I erroneously posted the following message in the Site Bug forum. :((

Was using a friends WinXP to demo the Torque engine so I can get him to help me with my game. (I was trying to convince him to help me for free since he's a commercial 3DSMax modeler ... he, he.)

So we were trying out the demo using the waterWorld mission and we got the blue-screen of death. Following is the dump file from WinXP:

Ok. We were using a an IBM Thinkpad T23 with 256MB RAM and an S3 SuperSavage with 16MB VRAM. Torque was displying at 800x600x16 using OpenGL.

My computer, an IBM Thinkpad A22m, was the server and he was a my client ... we were doing a classic deathmatch for around 15 mins then his machine died. >D
