I have a dual core G4 1.0ghz, 1.5gigs of ram and a 64 mb graphics card. OS is Tiger. This mac was given to me. Will TGE 1.5 run on this mac? What graphic card should I buy.
I also got a dual core G4 800 mhz, 1.0gigs of ram and a 64 mb graphics card. OS is Tiger will it run this mac? Both are quicksilver models. I am new to the mac world?

Yeah I saw that but I also saw in these forums that users were using G4's on TGE 1.5

You basically have the same machine I do and it runs fine.

You have a much better machine than I do, and it works fine on mine.

TGE isn't very picky about Video Ram, better get more RAM, as you have.
I can use it on my 1.23 Ghz, 1.25 Gb Ram, Radeon Mobility 9200 with 32 Mb Ram too, though I ran into some troubles with FxShapeReplicators while in the editor (it was with 1.4.0). Haven't tested since, as my 17" iMac is better. 8-)

If it works on my 550 MHz PPC G4 processor with 512 MB of SDRAM, it'll work on your flashy thing.(It works.)
