With torgue are you able to multithread events such as when your game loads up you can start making other things load at the same time your playing?

because he didn't have a dual core system to work with, and it sounds like performance
boost tests from other people were inconclusive, but it's a direction you might not have
seen yet.
You can find it here.

There is however a resource for multi-processor support. The original poster stoppedbecause he didn't have a dual core system to work with, and it sounds like performance

Kinda sounds interesting. Might do some researching to have it be able to multi thread...but my computer is a bit old and multi-threading is more for the vistas and the consoles. But thought it would be a good idea to try and learn multi-threading to have a step in the right direction of commercial gaming.

game situations where there are a lot of players moving around in close proximity
to each other, or when you want a lot of AINPCs all doing something. It's all about
optimization towards good frame rates..

Multi-threading and multi-processor support would certainly help, especially ingame situations where there are a lot of players moving around in close proximity
to each other, or when you want a lot of AINPCs all doing something. It's all about
optimization towards good frame rates..

Another big rendering performance optimization for TGE would be to move player mesh skinning out of the CPU and into the GPU.
