Town start on top of Atlas2

Just the start but I'm going to keep putting my progress over the weeks for this contract

Here is some more shots, I am really like the way that the atlas terrain is working out, it makes me exited all over again about my profession of choice:)

Really nice! On the second picture, is that really "water" in the bowl? Water as in you can splash around or drown in it? If it is, how did you do that?

PS: Out of curiosity (like that's spelled right...), what is the turrain made with? Is it L3DT?

Well you can't splash in the water, and i heavn't turned on Any effect its just static for now. But I used L3dt for the Atlas export, but i start in Bryce for basic shape, get it into L3DT and do a rough export so i can make sure the size is right. Then i just keep going back and forth between Torque and L3dt to get it right. The textures are procedurally generated, and its set up using the atlas bump mapping resource with the specular shut off, so no bump mapping for now really, but after done that will be next. Right now I'm developing the final land lay outs, these were just test runs really. Will update soon with some overhead shots:)

What do you want it to do??..the stream or are you talking about the puddle in the basin??
